(not) Excited!
In this powerful message, we're challenged to reconsider our approach to faith and obedience. Drawing from the stories of Jeremiah, Saul (Paul), and Ananias in Acts 9, we're reminded that serving God isn't always about feeling excited or enthusiastic. Sometimes, it's about doing what's right even when we don't feel like it. The key lesson here is that our feelings shouldn't dictate our faithfulness. God doesn't require us to be constantly joyful or excited, but He does expect us to be obedient. This perspective can be incredibly freeing, especially for those of us who struggle with consistent emotions in our spiritual walk. It reminds us that what truly matters is our willingness to follow God's will, regardless of how we feel in the moment. As we reflect on this, we're encouraged to trust in God's plan, even when it doesn't align with our natural instincts or desires.
